About me....
I am the proud mother of 2, a very feisty almost 5 year old (think Tinkerbell) and a curious 17 month old (think Ariel from the Little Mermaid) and married to my prince for 6 years. My world revolves around playing Cinderella with my 2 children and sometime in between I find time for my projects. I love everything creative. I tinker in scrapbooking, bow making, sewing, designing, party planning, cooking and crafting...I am using the word crafting to encompass anything else 'craft like' that I couldn't think of when I was writing this. I also enjoy movie watching (princess movies never go out of style), inspiring my children to explore life with the least amount of clean up possible, shopping, playing in makeup and decorating.
About Citrus Cupcakes...
So why start a blog? Well it all begins a long time ago in a land far far a way *wait* sorry, wrong story... Actually this past Labor Day 2010 I was honored to be in a wedding. My bridesmaid dress was very nice, dark purplish/bluish and satin but was a little un-ornamented for my taste so with the bride's permission I made a few fabric flowers for it. After seeing the flowers a few friends requested for me to teach them how to make fabric flowers. A few weeks prior to that event my sister started a blog to document her trip to Europe and I realized at the wedding that blogging is the perfect way to share, teach and inspire others to touch their inner craft. Thus Citrus Cupcakes is born.
